I am a photographer, but first and foremost I am a wife and mother. My beautiful family makes me everything I am. I can't help but take pictures of their gorgeous faces. My hobby & passion became my profession in 2010.
My husband and I married in 2005. We've added five amazing children to our family and have had several furry family members, currently our dogs, Tank and Rosie greet you with a welcome bark when you visit my home studio while our cat will hide away. We are an Army family and currently reside in Clarksville, TN just outside Ft. Campbell, KY.
My business and life changed forever in 2011 when our 3rd beautiful baby, Caralynn passed away due to a congenital heart defect. With her passing, I made a fundamental business decision to always maintain affordable pricing, so that my clients may always have amazing pictures of their children.
Life is so short. It is my goal to help my clients remember today, forever; with quality and wall-worthy photography at a fair price.
About my Work
My focus is on the family story. This includes in hospitals (fresh 48), newborns, children, maternity and family.
Working to capture the little moments and details that you want to remember. As a mother, I understand the precious memories parents want, and understand the needs of a newborn to be warm and comforted as we capturing their little sleeping faces. Older children are sometimes not as easy to please but my fun loving nature and natural mommy attitude brings out a smile from the most unwilling of subjects.
In my career thus far, I have had the pleasure of working with over 1,000 families!
With newborns being my specialty, I only take a handful each month to ensure my time with them is perfect. From the session to editing to delivering your gallery of hand picked images. In the past 5 years, I've been able to love and photograph over 300 newborns!
Kate is my virtual assistant and handles all of the scheduling, emails, and behind the scenes work to get your session ready for me to photograph.
Kate is a fellow military spouse, we met while her family was stationed at Ft. Belvoir and I was able to be a part of her pregnancy, her son's birth and their growing family while in the Washington DC area.
Kate shares my the same passion for helping families capture their memories with a high quality experience and fair price.
When she's not answering emails and helping keep me organized she is developing her hobby of photography, virtually assisting others, practicing yoga, or chasing down her two children and 2 chocolate labs, Odin and Eden.
